After graduating as the Valedictorian in New Denver B.C., Yuri planted some 1.3 million trees (around 5000 football fields of forest). In Oct of 1997 he was named Outside Magazine's (light-hearted) pick, If Tree Planting were to become an Olympic Sport. In college he studied science, history and literature. On his own time he studied business history and finance, a hobby that led him to Toward Excellence, a government sponsored program dedicated to helping entrepreneurs actualize their ideas. He brings to Office Move Direct a high set of standards for employees, motivation and innovation for company policies and strategies as well as, leadership skills and team building concepts that are the result of years of activity "in the field".
