Move Coordinator

Move Co-Ordinators, or MCO'S, are promoted Office Movers and recruited movers with truck packing and truck driving experience. Negotiating heavy traffic, packing trucks and managing a team makes The Move-Coordinator position a demanding one. For this reason, Move-Coordinators are paid well--the MCO wage starts at $15/hour, grows to $18/hour and can reach as high as $20/hour before a project management position is considered.

As a Move-Coordinator you must have packing skills, dolly techniques, techniques for lifting and maneuvering heavy furniture, truck packing skill, furniture wrapping skill, furniture disassembly and reassembly skill as well as, the ability to implement customer service and team building concepts. In addition, Move Coordinators are required to drive 3-ton and 5-ton trucks and must communicate well with their Office Movers to back these trucks into position.

Move Coordinators must learn our safety procedures, accident procedures and company policies so they may respond properly to unexpected events. The most valuable characterstics of the MCO are: responsibility, communication skills, physical competence and leadership.
