OMT Coverage

Our Office Move Technician Protection plan is in place to cover your valued belongings against damage or loss as a result of negligence or accident. Our OMT Protection plan comes at our promotionally reduced rate of $100 per $0-$25,000 of covered value. Though OMT Coverage requires an inventory and assessment of covered goods, Office Move Direct will provide the required forms or, for a nominal fee, perform the inventory. Also, there is a scaled deductible that applies to each validated claim.

The OMT Protection process requires that a representative of Office Move Direct completes an OMT protection form. This form inventories the protected items and notes their condition and value. The Office Move Direct representative may request to take digital photos of particular items. When the form is completed a representative of the company or individual owning the goods must sign confirming the original condition, quantity and description of covered goods as well as the associated values of the goods.

OMT Protection coverage ensures that, in the event of a valid claim, Office Move Direct provides monetary compensation for the amount of the actual loss or damage, or the cost to replace or repair, whichever is less, up to the declared value, less the applicable deductible, to the owner, or a representative of the owner, of the covered goods.

In Brief...

If there is an accident or an item has been visibly damaged, you can submit a Loss or Damage at Delivery form and your claim will be assessed. When your claim has been validated, Office Move Direct will replace it or repair it, up to its full value, less the applicable deductible.
